Eddieomar Gonzalez Castillo

Eddie graduated from Florida School for Dance Education in 2015. He was a finalist at Young Arts and a semi-finalist for presidential scholar in 2015. Eddie went on to dance in college at SUNY Purchase, where he rehearsed and performed works by Jose Limon, Shannon Gillen, Tom Weinberger, Stuart Loungeway, Jerome Robbins, and many others. He was selected to attend the Springboard Danse intensive in Montreal, has assisted VIM VIGOR dance company in their workshop at international festival B12, and assisted Christopher Huggins at STAGE International Festival DARC. He’s also performed with UANA DANSE at an international competition for choreographers in Germany, Copenhagen international choreography competition, and Dance Days in Chania Greece. He is now a company member of Visceral Dance Chicago.


Julia Vinez

Julia Vinez began her dancing career here at Florida School for Dance Education. At the age of 13 she moved from home to train at The Harid Conservatory.  Julia attended summer programs at Houston Ballet, Texas Ballet Theatre, and Boston Ballet. She graduated from The Harid Conservatory in 2018 and moved to Charlotte Ballet for the 2018-2019 season as an Apprentice studying under Patricia McBride, which was followed by a summer at the Chautauqua Institute as an Apprentice. Julia is now a member of Philadelphia Ballet’s Corps de ballet.





Malik Williams

Malik graduated from Florida School for Dance Education in 2013. He then went on to The Juilliard School, where he graduated with a B.F.A. in 2017 under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes. At Juilliard, he worked with the choreographers Takehiro Ueyama, Loni Landon, Zvi Gotheiner, Matthew Neenan, and Gentian Doda. He has performed works by Martha Graham, Paul Taylor, and Nacho Duato. Since graduating, Williams has danced with the Limón Dance Company, National Dance Company of Wales, Lydia Johnson Dance, and has performed with the Radio City Rockettes. During this time, he has performed works by José Limón, Caroline Finn, Yin Yue, Caitlin Javech, and Lydia Johnson, among many others. He is currently dancing with Mark Morris Dance Group as an apprentice.

Cameron Mitchell Jackson 

Cameron graduated from Florida School for Dance Education in 2012 and went on to pursue his BFA in Musical Theatre at Point Park University. Cameron performed regionally at Pittsburgh Playhouse, Maltz Jupiter Theater, Broward Stagedoor Theater, and Weathervane Playhouse. Upon graduation from Point Park University, Cameron is now an Ensemble cast member in the national tour of Aladdin on Broadway.






Kira Roberts

Kira graduated from Florida School for Dance Education in 2017. Post graduation, Kira went on to dance with Colorado Ballet in their pre-professional program, while at the same studying meteorology at Mississippi State University. She then went on to dance with Columbia City Ballet as a trainee and is currently dancing as a trainee with Ballet Quad Cities.









Christopher Kunzelmann

Christopher began his education here at Florida School for Dance Education, and in 2013 he continued his dance education at Next Generation Ballet at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. In 2015 he joined the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, where he graduated in 2017.  Christopher is now a member of the crops de ballet with Stuttgart Ballet in Stuttgart, Germany.





Cassidy Spaedt

Cassidy began training with Florida School for Dance Education at its opening and graduated from FSDE in 2014. She continued her dance education at The Juilliard School where she graduated in 2018 with a BFA in dance. At Juilliard she performed new works by Austin McCormick, Aszure Barton, and Pam Tanowitz, as well as repertory created by José Limón, Jerome Robbins, Nacho Duato, and Twyla Tharp. Cassidy is now a company member of Jennifer Muller/ The Works.
